Hey, Wake Forest and happy weekend! My name is Avery Finch, and I’m a Wake Forest sophomore and writer for the Old Gold & Black. On Fridays, I’ll be taking over the OGB newsletter to help students discover fun things to do in and around Winston- Salem. The Ramkat's A Night of The Cure
The Ramkat will be hosting a night of The Cure as performed by The Vagabond Saints’ Society

Wake Radio’s Fall Concert will be hosted at Gas Hill Drinking Room with musical performances by Wake Radio members. Expect to see performances by Wake’s acapella group Innuendo, Dianna Laterra, DJ Jesse Orozco, Malachi Woodward and Jane Alexander.

Problem/Child Tribute to AC/DC
Problem/Child, an AC/DC tribute band will be playing at West Bend Bar.

UNCSA School of Filmmaking is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a free presentation of short films spanning the decades at ACE Main Theater. The films will range from digital, black & white, color, narrative, animation and documentary genres.

The Caviste will be hosting a free wine tasting event with La Casaccia Winemaker, Margherita Rava.

Comedian and actor Matt Vita, will be at The Idiot Box Comedy Club as part of his tour.

Saturday
It’s game day against NC State at 2:00 p.m.!!! Last home game of the season, so show out! Seniors, take it easy. As per usual, if football isn't your thing, or you have some time to kill before the game, here are some other options. I know this is a packed day so I went ahead and picked the best out of your Saturday options.
Interested in vintage Wake Forest gear or tired of your old clothes and need a new wardrobe? The Winston-Salem Vintage Show is back this Saturday at Wise Man Brewing. They offer 25 different vintage vendors, a live DJ and food trucks.

The Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art will be hosting its free Cars and Coffee event — which takes place the second Saturday of every month — this Saturday on its front lawn.

The Ramkat's End of the Line: A Tribute to the Allman Brothers Band
End Of The Line, an Allman Brothers tribute band with endorsements from the official Allman Brothers Museum, will be performing at The Ramkat.

Fiddle & Fig will be having a vendor market showcasing 15 small businesses from across North Carolina.

Stroll Through Tanglewood Festival of Lights
The Tanglewood Festival of Lights is almost here! But first, it is open for a 1.3 mile walk under the lights with hot chocolate, s’mores, food trucks and games.

Mighty Tchaikovsky & Shostakovich
The Winston-Salem Symphony will be performing Tchaikovsky & Shostakovich with Michelle Cann on piano at Reynolds Auditorium
